Green Party policy explained

Sunday, December 13th, 2009

In this article we will try to explain what Omar Lopez’s policy is about in simple words. Well, very often everything is clear from his speeches, because the way he speaks deserves praise. Anyway, many people want to understand everything fast without going deep into details. So, this article is just for them.

He is the representative of Green Party. Very often he reminds us of the words of a very famous Chicago politician’s wife: “for the first time in my adult life I feel proud of my Party”. This is the way Mr. Lopez feels now. He points out to the fact that Latinos and Americans are in equal conditions. They also experience economic hard times and lack of education, healthcare. But they are progressive and ready to changes.

What is more, Omar Lopez believes that we all are at a cross-road and there are two possible ways for us. The first one is narrow and will lead us to self-determination. The other road will lead to disrespect of our Constitution and neo-colonialism. So, the choice is clear – we’d better become progressive and let Green Party represent our communities.

Why should people join the Green Party? What does it mean? The first and the most important meaning is that this party shares principles which do reflect the proclaimed ones. Party works hard to solve problems with immigration reform, labour and economic justice. And finally, Green Party stands ready to defend millions of families without documents who live under the siege of state. Tha is why we need the Green Party.
